Experienced Mother, Loving and Caring Wife

Hello and welcome. My name is Shannon. I am a mother of 5 children and am a loving and caring wife to a wonderfully supportive husband.

I was born in British Columbia. I am the youngest of three girls. I grew up all over British Columbia, but I call Kamloops, BC home. As a teenager, I was always busy babysitting the neighbourhood children. I would often make games up for them and have "summer camp".

After getting married in 1993, my first child was born in Kamloops. Two years later, my second child was born. In 2002, my family moved to Calgary, Alberta. Within the next 5 years, I had 3 more children. They now range in ages from 27 to 14 years old. I was fortunate to be able to stay home with my children until they were school aged. For the next 7 years, I worked as preschool teacher in my community.

I have taken many courses to expand my education and knowledge of this wonderful age-group. I love the little ones and watching them grow and learn all about life. The light-bulb moments are my absolute favourite!

As an experienced mother, I have come across many families struggling with finding the RIGHT knowledge and how to implement it into their lives. There is a TONNE of information in books, online and personal experiences that many parents get bogged down. Each family has it's own path, and  I can be the guiding light to help navigate the rough waters of new parenthood.
