We were struggling to care for our three-month-old preemie twin boys before Shannon came to us. My spouse was working long hours outside the home, I was suffering from post-partum depression/anxiety and we had no family in town to help on a regular basis. Not a lot of sleep was happening.  

Shannon's cheerful, easy-going demeanour and wealth of experience helped restore some order and peace to our home. On nights she was here, we never had to worry about dirty bottles piling up by the sink or laundry baskets overflowing. She would sing and play with the babies while mom and dad were able to enjoy a civilized meal, shower or nap. We had her for a few overnights, at reasonable rates, so that my spouse and I could get some solid sleep in the same bed for once. She helped wrangle the babies at their vaccination appointments. And she also helped us establish a bed time and nap routine that would set the foundation for sleep training (which she also helped with). Shannon offered great advice in a supportive and non-judgmental way. 

Our only regret was not having Shannon with us sooner!

Shannon was a huge help to our family. Her experience with kids and babies really showed. She helped me feel at ease and get some much needed rest and/or getting things done around the house. Whatever I felt I needed that day. She was very understanding and compassionate. She was even great with our fur babies! My recovery and entry into motherhood would not have been the same without her. She was dependable at an important and uncertain time.

Shannon was a godsend for our family. With twin babies and a 4-year old we had our hands full and Shannon helped every way she could. She provided great post-partum care for my wife and took care of the little ones. She helped our family for over a year and was great at everything she did. I highly recommend her to help your family.
